Here are the latest improvements we’ve made to our Sage Accounting plans:
Fast approval of offers and estimates

Quotes and estimates can now be easily approved or rejected with a single click. Users can also add a reason for rejections, giving you the level of detail and context you need to take action — be it adjusting the item or issuing an invoice.
Automated payments via GoCardless
Plan: Standard, Plus
Our integration with GoCardless means you can now add automated payments to your recurring invoices. In other words, customers can sync their existing GoCardless account and pay you their debts via direct debit.
You can also prescribe this payment method and even automatically compare it with the invoices when payment is made.
This removes friction from the payment process, meaning you spend less time tracking payments, experience fewer defaults, offer your customers a cheaper payment method and improve their experience.
New budget features
Plan: Plus
Sage Accounting Plus users now have some additional budgeting features to keep their finances on track. This includes easily creating, editing and managing budgets as well as generating reports to track business performance.
Whether you’re creating a budget based on last year’s data or creating one based on your plan for the future, these new features will help you control costs, set goals, manage cash flow, and allocate your resources.
Sales invoice improvements

You can now easily view the history of all sales invoices — including details, current status and all previous activity. This helps decide when and how to go after late payers.
We’ve also added notifications to keep you informed of any activity related to your sales invoices in real time. This also applies if there is a delivery error and if a Stripe payment is made.
Customer billing improvements

You can now stay on top of customer billing by including yourself in all communications — including automated monthly bills. This means you always know the current delivery status of each customer.
Adjust inventory with import
Plan: Standard, Plus
Thanks to a new file import type, you can now update inventory and prices in bulk.
This means you no longer have to spend hours manually performing individual updates.
Mobile purchase capture
Plan: Standard, Plus
To make it easier to manage your expenses, we’ve updated our mobile app so you can now capture receipts and purchase invoices on the go.
This automatically retrieves key details and stores them on the platform, allowing you to better keep track of cash flow and reduce errors.
Management of recurring invoice batches
Plan: Start, Standard, Plus
You can now manage recurring invoices more efficiently by activating, deactivating and canceling them in batches.
This means you no longer have to manually update every single recurring invoice when you need to make changes.

Our Sage Accounting Individual plans allow you to easily manage your income and expenses while giving you peace of mind that you are preparing your self-assessment tax return correctly.

There are also a number of new features that make managing recurring invoices easier.
From filtering by status to sorting, showing and hiding columns, you can have more granular control over the information displayed and customize your workflow to suit your needs.
Create refunds from bank feeds

A new update allows you to easily assign the correct transaction type for customer and supplier refunds.
You can now also record partial refunds without having to manually delete and redo transactions.
Move and reorder lines in sales invoices
Plan: Start, Standard, Plus
You can now quickly and easily change invoices that have already been created.
So if you want to add another element, rearrange or copy lines, or format the document, you can always jump back into the editor.
Export contacts and products to an importable format
Plan: Everyone
When you export contact and product data, it is now in a format that can be reimported later.
This means you don’t have to manually change records, saving a lot of time, especially if you need to restart or move a client subscription.

Update contact and product records with import
Plan: Everyone
You no longer need to manually update contact and product records individually. We’ve added a new option that allows you to perform a bulk update using a file import.
During this import, you can update or skip any existing records, making it easier than ever to replace data such as stock prices and quantities and contact preferences.
Intelligent reporting from general ledger balances to detailed nominal activity
Plan: Start, Standard, Plus
To help you gain insights from and better understand your financial data, we’ve added the ability to drill down into deeper details directly from summarized financial reports.
You can quickly drill down, identify discrepancies, track numbers, and find ways to work more efficiently.
Trial balance report
Plan: Individual, individual free
Trial balance reports have now been added to our Individual and Individual Free plans. This is an important report that helps you identify errors, verify the accuracy of financial records, and prepare other financial reports.
You can download your trial balance reports using the mobile app and even customize them using the web app.
Process transactions in bulk
Plan: Individual, individual free
By checking your records for accuracy, you can now process transactions in bulk (up to 20 at a time). You can change the data, categories and descriptions as well as book and delete transactions.
By eliminating the need to complete one transaction at a time, this feature speeds up your annual enrollment processes.
Export unreconciled transactions to bank feeds
Plan: Standard, Plus
When you or your accountant work with bank feeds, you may sometimes miss important context about individual transactions, such as: B. References or unexpected amounts.
Gathering the information you need to correct this issue can be time-consuming — especially if you have a high volume of transactions.
That’s why we’ve now added the ability to export a report of all unmatched transactions found in your bank feeds, so you can easily request the information you need, such as ledger accounts, transaction descriptions or invoices.
Edit the contact applied to payments and receipts
Plan: Start, Standard, Plus
Previously, if you accidentally applied the wrong supplier to a transaction, you had to unassociate, delete, recreate, and reassign.
This was quite time consuming, so we’ve now made it so that you can easily edit any contact associated with a payment or receipt.
This will help you quickly correct any errors and give you more confidence in the accuracy of your bank feeds.
